Born and raised in Scotland, Gary began his professional journey in the world of luxury retail, working with heritage brands across the UK before moving to Hong Kong in 2012. There, he transitioned into talent acquisition, where he worked with international Interior design firms to help build teams across Asia’s fast-paced markets.
After seven years in Asia, Gary relocated to the U.S., where he brought his international skills to private education. He taught in private schools from Hawaii to San Francisco and eventually New York City, gaining a deep understanding of people, communities, and what defines a sense of home.
Now based full-time in Manhattan, Gary brings that global experience and personal insight to his real estate practice to Compass. He works with buyers, sellers, and investors across Manhattan, offering thoughtful, strategic service tailored to each client’s needs.
Whether guiding first-time buyers or advising seasoned investors, Gary draws on his diverse background, natural curiosity, and calm professionalism to help clients navigate the city’s fast-moving market with confidence and clarity.
